Fast Forward Funtion Not Working

I used to record programs purposely because I knew I could fast forward through the adverts.

But I have noticed in the past few weeks everytime I try to fast forward it brings up a message fast forwarding is not available for this channel, but it doesn't seem to matter which channel it is.

This also happens if the phone rings and I pause live tele, but when or if I try to press fast forward to catch up to live tele or just fast forward a tiny bit, it refuses to do this.

Is there something wrong with with my system, it is a BT tv box, or is this more disruptive rules?

THECORBYLOON,

Thats a fair point, but its impossible to remember all those details daily.

That is false marketing anyway, Because Tesco will offer something cheaper but so does ASDA, its designed to drag you to a certain shop, but once you're in there you end up buying the products that are more expensive elsewhere anyway. So you end up spending more money than just blindly going to a shop, and having a bit of common sense as to what you feel is expencive or not.

For example I was out shopping with my partner recently, and shes switched on enough to notice something was gone up by 10 pence, she didn't need an advert to tell her that.

Supermarkets spend a fortune on ads, so they want to make sure it drags customers to their shop and spend money.
