In the mid 80's I saw a foreign film on TV which consisted of a series of shorts. One was filmed from an angle above a room which had a window and a door plus a table, a bed and a wardrobe. It started with a ball coming in through the window and boy climbing in to retrieve it and then exiting the same way. This happened several times before someone else entered by the door, did something in the room and then went out again. The scene repeated itself over and over with more and more people coming into the room, carrying out their own activity and leaving again but, as far as I can remember, no-one met or got in the way of anyone else despite the numbers present. It finished with the numbers getting fewer and fewer until just the boy and his ball remained. Does this ring any bells?

Many thanks, Tiamaria. From your answers I have found that the film is called 'Tango' by the Polish director Zbig Rybczynski. He did a number of similar films and 'Mein Fenster' was another of them. All I need to do now is locate a copy of 'Tango'. Thanks for your help.
