Niagara Falls wedding

I am recently engaged and trying to plan a destination wedding to Niagara Falls from Northeast Ohio. I've found plenty of spots on the Canadian side but am having a hard time finding things on the US side. Does anyone have any suggestions of where to have a simple, yet elegant ceremony for approximately 45-50 people?

Niagara is a bit of a Vegas meets Disney type place. Even the best hotels have seen better days and lack (in my opinion) charm and warmth.
A far better option is the beautiful town/village 'Niagara on the Lake'.
Often described as Canada's prettiest town it retains much of the character of it's 19th Century heritage.
As a venue for a wedding party, dare I suggest there is no other choice than the Prince of Wales Hotel?
