my little girl is 8lbs but the newborn tights are way to big for her. Any idea where I can get her little tights? I've tried Next, mothercare, asda, tesco, gap and adams.

check the internet for premature baby outfits.
Mothercare do Early baby size my daughter was 6lb, and they fit her, and her doll baby Annabel now she's 6. They do a whole range of Early baby size clothes.
Woolworths - their clothing range does teeny tights.
I'm sure that Boots would sell them, they do have a early baby range.
I'm curious- what do clothes shop consider an ideal birthweight then? I wouldn't have said that 8lb was small, just about average really- so where on earth are these hefty babies coming from then that'll fit in the shop's tights???

Oh and congrats on your baby girl :-)
