I think whitehouse down is on netflix - one of my all time favs

If he's seen the others (if not, start him on the first), "John Wick 4" is yet more of the absolutely enjoyable (imo, of course), action-packed nonsense that the franchise is known for.

Currently, Chapters 1 & 2 are each £3.49 to rent on Prime, while 3 & 4 are free to Prime account holders.

I also enjoyed "The Old Guard" on Netflix.  Take his mind off things with Charlize Theron in action 😉

In case he's of a sensitive nature, I should add there's quite a bit of gore in those...

The 'has fallen' series - Gerard Butler. Can't remember all of them but one is The Angel has Fallen. You need to watch them in order.

The film 'Close' (2019) is a good action movie, starring Noomi Rapace as a top female bodyguard. Packs plenty of action into it's 90 mins.

Olympus, London and Angel.

All five Bourne films are on Netflix, what more could you want?

 Bourne Movies in Chronological Order

The Bourne Identity (2002) ...

The Bourne Supremacy (2004) ...

The Bourne Ultimatum (2007) ...

The Bourne Legacy (2012) ...

Jason Bourne (2016) ...

Sorry, I may be wrong, they may no longer be there - depends where you are.

Sorry, late to party here, he really has to see "Nobody!". It has it all  ;)
