I have an ordinary tv, and I would like to have two small speakers (like the ones you use with pc's) but I want them to be remote speakers so I don't have wires all round my living room, also to be able to use a remote control to adjust the volume. Does anyone know if you can use pc speakers or have any other ideas ?

there are a few of these type of speakers for non computer use usually for rear speakers with 5.1 surround sound, go to maplins thats the best solution, ask them
There may be no connection on the TV for externel speakers (read the manual that came with the TV and see if there is).

It may be your sky box or freeview box (if you have one) has an "audio out". Again read the manual and see if the is.

Some people play their TV sound through the hi fi system.

Some people buy a "home cinema" system that is a DVD player and speakers combined. You can play the TV sound through that.

The other option is an Audio Video (AV) amplifier and speakers, but that may be too much for what you want.

If you want speakers that have no wires then that is likely to be more expensive than ones with wires, but you still need something to "drive" them.
Here is a specialist web site for questions about TVs and such.

If you do ask the question put the make and model number of your TV or nobody will be able to help.
