Reasons To Be Annoyed

I've had a very bad day.  We have had TWO lots of scaffolders here today - one for our property and one for the barn which backs onto our property.  I have had to tell them all about eleventy billion times to keep the gate closed (otherwise there is a dog that runs in, poos on the lawn and chases my cats - but that's a whole different rant altogether).

Despite extreme provocation and incessant noise, I have been very tolerant and kept them all topped up all day with coffee/tea/cold drinks.

Now the empties have been returned, there is a glass missing.  It is only a glass, and I imagine it is in the back of a flat bed truck, but I am FURIOUS!!!

So has anything boiled your blood today that can top being ridiculously cross about a missing glass?!

(Catering services may be withdrawn tomorrow, until I get my glass back!)

Ah well  ..just noticed that I spent most of yesterday evening
helping a poster to solve some place names in a quiz only to find today it is a "No asking" quiz!  Time could have been better spent doing other things. 🙁

EE.  Aaaargh!!  BT yesterday were brilliant (thank you, Charlotte), a great new deal & got moved to EE for my mobile.  Do you think I can log-in with EE?  Nope.  🤬  I'll get there, but I've had enough for today & the bar's open 😃

Countrylover, I had similar in Boots some years ago, handed over my Boots card and some vouchers, told I could not use 1 of the vouchers as I had to be over 60. Nice boost for the day.

Well it got worse.  All knowledge of missing glass was denied - I denied to make drinks on the basis that if they cannot bring my crockery and glassware back, I am not endlessly supplying stuff.

Then one of the lads from the neighbours started clearing his throat and spitting in our yard.  Mr BM asked that he didn't do that and to use a handkerchief.  Mr BM was subject to a string of indignent expletives in return.  So I sought out the boss and explained that I would not tolerate this and he was a stone's throw from being kicked off our property.  Strangely, things settled down after that.  I gave up work at 11am since it was too difficult to concentrate.  I've taken tomorrow off too.

Total lack of respect and unnecessary yobbish behaviour.

Illegal immigrants.
