Have been victim of a two dog attack on self and my own dog.

Would be interested in people's experience of dog attacks from civil proceeding point of view.

Is there a legal standard I should look for using a no win/no fee firm?

I don't want to affect my claims record for house insurance (legal protection), as my premium next year will go up.

at least one link given  here is dead

and Barry Barry darling, we have  COMPLETELY  confused ( as AB ALWAYS does) criminal cases with civil. All your  URLS are  about offences, shootinng  dogs, fining owners and

NOT compensating the victim - see the other sterile discussions on AB on shooting people  and do the police  have to have  a REASONABLE belief their life was in  danger ? ( no-criminal, yes civil. I dont think TTT ever got the hang of that one)

40 bites? 40 tooth marks

best answer? best answer piffle: says nothing about compensating the victim ( yes I have read it) which is what this thread was about. Civil is differeent to criminal

anyone capeeshy?

nope - haw haw haw

I did check - there is no way a civil claim can  be hung  on a dangerous dogs act prosecution

two law systems

As I understand it, 'no win, no fee' does not mean no costs if things don't go well.

perhaps you didnt read peter before you denigrated barrys answer, but the criminal law WAS asked about, and barry answered appropriately

Thank you, bednobs. I sometimes think I have a stalker, it's a good thing I am not paranoid.

.Hi beddie: but the criminal law WAS asked about, and barry answered appropriately

yeah right

"Would be interested in people's experience of dog attacks from civil proceeding point of view."

Barry you cant have a stalker: you dont scream loudly enough about piffle

petey - "I wonder what charges the police could make, as a matter of interest."

i would accuse you of being blind, but as you are i'd better not :)

This firm seems worth a ring
