I am looking for a no win no fee solicitor in Scotland. However most of these companies are for personal injury claims. I am looking for a solicitor for an employment law case. Also there was an advert on tv for such a solicitor that can re-coup costs from the other side if you lose your case. I am sceptical of these no fee claims but would appreciate if anyone can provide companies I can then contact. In addition has anyone here used such a lawyer? I would really appreciate any help as I dont see to be having much luck with internet searches. Thanks.

If you lose your case the costs cannot be recouped from the other side. After all, why should they pay when they were in the right?
I will be very surprised if you can get a no win, no fee agreement on an employment law case. The reason they offer it for personal injury claims is they only sue if there is an extremely high chance of winning and the other side is insured. They are guaranteed to receive their very high fees then.
Try your citizens advice bureau, or your union, or ACAS to get initial advice.
I saw the add you mention - the jargo was something like 'win or lose, it won't cost you a penny'
Not sure if they were offering the type of help you are after though

Have you googled?
