Goodnight Bobbi x

I lived in the backwoods of Norfolk in the Sixties and I remember taking a day trip to London and walking down Carnaby Street - wow, what an eye-opener.

Night Bobbi. Thanks for the memories.🎵

Who can remember when the song multiplication by Bobby Darin was is banned by the BBC ?

I don't know if it was my dodgy hearing, but to me, a lot of these "singers" at the time seemed to be slightly out of tune, The Hollies being one of the most prominent.

Dodgy hearing, I think, Hahaha

About the only time Roy Wood didn't wear his round glasses.

Oh yes, happy days. I had a white and navy mini skirt with a navy 'skinny' top and white pvc platform boots,  I didn't look too bad, although I say it myself. My dad's local was called The Rising Sun, it was demolished to make way for something or other. They had a party singing the song and getting very drunk. Dad came away with part of the til as a souvenir.

I discovered The Smithsonian Channel which is all 60s music. Some of it I don't remember. Raindrops keep falling on my Head at the moment by B J Thomas on at the moment.

Me, too, a micro mini skirt, white, PVC, boots, striped top, my long, 32 inch legs, and I was a chick of the 60s

Think boom radio is bringing back all these memories love it.

Here is The Rising Sun in Stockport. The road on the right goes to Poynton and Macclesfield. The one on the left goes to Lyme Park.
