Sorry patsy didn't see your post as was typing a friend arrived and we've been chatting.

Yes agree, skin tone's the thing.

Point taken, Ladybirder.  Abbey, however, should make sure she projects the right persona rather than worry about whether her dress and skin tone are the right match.

Absolutely.

Why not wear the outfit you wore when you got your last job.

Abbey you have been to many interviews surely you know what is appropriate to wear by now. I am sorry but if you are this indecisive at work it is no wonder that you are not passing probationary periods

Is the job full time?

Question Author

Part time doing my jobs aswell my current one

Any of them... you just need to look presentable but bear in mind you'll be wearing a uniform if &when you get the job.

Whats much more important is how you answer the questions and how keen and customer friendly you come across as. Be prepared to explain why you not stayed long recently...... stress what you learnt from it

I've said before, have one outfit that you use for your interviews.

That way you know that you don't have to worry about choosing an outfit.

Do I take it then that you will have to have hours from Home Bargains which work round your hours at the Care Home?

Question Author

Yes

The first one, it shouts "I'm leaving".

^^ You will have to explain that fully to interviewer at Home Bargains.  Will you be able to fit in travel or are both jobs within walking distance of each other?

Question Author

Same transport

Abbey/  please could you use more words to explain - same transport does not make much sense to me!

Question Author

Same bus to home bargains aswell as residential home

Abby, do you buy a new dress for every interview you go to, and every evening out?
