Good Tuesday morning, Birdies.  I am hoping to pick up some more antibiotics at lunchtime for my current chest infection and some new inhalers.  It's been a rough few days.

 

Not much else going on around these parts.

Yes at the little t rooms where I live  then over to the pub for a few laughs 

shes asked ( LJ)and all she gets back is she mustn't be entering the right information, she knows she is as changingbuser names has never been her thing, or passwords , I suggested reregistering with a different email and adding a 1 to her LJ, she tried this but still no joy

Well AB does not need to lose any more members.  I stumbled across an old thread from two years ago.  The OP, jim360, when UI in January this year and at least a dozen of the people on that thread have either passed away, gone UI or simply don't post any more.  

Shame about jim360 - he was an incredibly brainy chap and I enjoyed reading his posts and hearing about his posting to Croatia.

I'm getting adverts plastered all over the screen today and when I click on something the whole page because obscured by one advert.  It's getting tiresome.

Sausages!!  You've just reminded me that I've got loads of the damn things in the freezer out in the utility room.  I had a good scrat around the other day and found Venison, Turkey, Pork and others.  I will have to make a casserole for the boys.

We've got a half-side of salmon between the three of us.  A surfeit of vegetables will accompany.  I'm going to marinate the Salmon in some melted butter and a mustard and dill sauce I bought from the farm shop and then cook it in the air fryer.

People like what they like, don't they.  My husband thinks horseradish is the food of the devil but I love the stuff.  He even cringes when I have apple sauce with pork.

I love mint sauce with beef which is the only red meat I will eat anyway

That's a new one on me, Bobbi, but I've enjoyed unusual combinations before now - duck foie and voilet petal marmalade being popular in Spain and one of my favourite things ever.  

I bought some apple and cider sauce the other day and some pheasant pate with champagne and the two go surprisingly well together, although the pate is slightly coarse and I prefer something smooth.
