What Do You Put On Your Porridge?

'A big dollop of fresh cream', says someone I know.   I've heard of jam, or golden syrup, but never fresh cream.   Has anyone else ever heard of it?

pasta goes off to count how many types of cheese are lurking in the fridge 

My mum used to hide the cheese from me because I used to come home from school and cut off a huge chunk of  cheddar.  No sweets or biscuits interested me.  My dad was the same.

today i might use some jersey milk i have left over from making a rice pudding yesterday

I don't like porridge

Nothing

Whatever that's been growing ont allotment. Forced rhubarb, goosegogs, black and redcurrants, raspberries and apple...all been stewed and frozen. 

If I have cream to use up and nothing to use it with I have put it on porridge and it's really nice. Just a dessertspoonful. I have also put it on cereal, again just a small amount. Delicious on cornflakes.
When I was in hospital they made gorgeous porridge.
