Breastfeeding can help protect you from developing breast cancer. There are also other steps you can take to lower your risk, such as staying physically active and reducing alcohol consumption.

Hi azizul26, welcome to the AnswerBank.  I have removed your duplicate post.

Then I'll start as soon as possible.

Ladycg....happens a lot in News now where questions are just statements and jibes or 'lobbing in a grenade ' to wind others up....at least this post is sort of informative

I'll ask the Ed to move this to Body & Soul, but I doubt it will be done until Monday.

There won't be many people on here who still breastfeed ( just one on News maybe) but this pist may be useful for their family

BTW, Healthline is not a good place to link to. It does the usual irritating web thing of asking if you want to be spied on, then when you 'disallow all' it forces you to a page you didn't ask for; and as such is not just utterly useless but a frustrating pain to boot.

yes we were told it does ( prevent breast ca)

but there is no doubt some have still gone onto....
