Victoria Beckham On Parkinson

Saw a re-run of this interview with Victoria Beckfam with Parkinson.

At 29, apart from being stunningly attractive, she has already got a firm grip on the nonsense of being a 'celebrity.

And she continues to confound her critics by still in 2023, managing to remain in love with her husband, having raised an apparently normal family.

It's not easy, but she deserves respect for floating above the nonsense and idiocy, and enjoying her family and her success.

I don't suggest anything - least of all that she's raise a 'normal' family. That's just nonsense.

They also smile when they look at the good they for charitiy. But most times they manage to keep the lid on that info.

As to David, it wasn't widely reported but he apparently went out together Afghanistan or Iraq ( my memory isn't quite what it was) to visit the troops. What I did hear from the RCDM staff who were there at the time was 100% positive, and he spent much of his visit just listening to the personnel especially those who were injured and waiting to come back to England for specialist treatment. He also visited a number of the Teenage Cancer Trust units, no press invited just to chat to the patients and families. It's what they do without fanfare I admire.

I remember when he joined the queue to wait his turn to pay his respects when the late queen died. No 'Do you know who I am?' from him. He seems a nice sort of chap.

As I understand it, her “fashion company” has never been a success.

Her company not so much but her designs tend to get into the mainstream quite a bit. Some of her illusion dresses and the bodycon styles are still out there. She is very good at designs that work for petite women where a lot of male designers seem to think you shouldn't have fashion unless you are 5'10+ and a size 6

Success or no success, the cost will be down to them, no one else. I would think they pay eyewatering tax bills also.

I can't stand the woman she comes over to me as so precious. She could smile without showing her teeth, it's easy. He had the talent, she has none. Mind you I wish he hadn't covered himself in tattoos but his lovely smiles make up for that. Why does she almost aways wear black?
I've watched the video AH is talking about and must admit she looked good then, 20 years ago, smiling a lot.
Not now though.

As I have mentioned, Mrs Beckham is on record as advising that she does not like images of herself smiling, so she tends not to do so when cameras are around, so we only really see images of her not smiling.

I remember watching her on Parkinson show.
She comes across as down to earth with a great sense of humour.
I think David is a good family man & husband. I like him.
To me, they seem a very loving family.
