It is probably genuine (there is strike action coming this week) but as to how they got your e-mail address it's a mystery (although e-mail address are quite freely traded across the internet by businesses
All his stuff about "we care for your security/data" etc is all bullsiht.
Usually they say something like 'you are receiving this email because.... but there is nothing like that and I wasn't going to click on 'unsubscribe' just in case.
