It’s in another few Douglas but rather than choose the Mail( again) I opted for the Express , so what do you think about it?
right that's the last straw, get on the dog and tell our diplomats to park our jam jars all over their yellow lines, that'll show em! PMSL what a not story, diplomats all over the world do this, including us, nothing to see here.

^^^ oops Have I scored a own goal Tora , hahaha
I think it's what you'd expect from third world soap-dodging nutters who claim to believe much mumbo jumbo written in a special book but manage to invent exceptions when it suits them.

No fury though.

Good answer Douglas
"Taliban refuse to pay parking fines" .. In fairness to Bobbi you don't see that many Toyota Hilux complete with heavy calibre machine guns or anti aircraft guns parked up outside Harrods. Are the all related to citizen Khan? I bet when they let a few salvos go, just for the fun of it, the pollution stats go through the roof.
This is a typical example of the tabloids making something else out of a simple fact.

All diplomats serving embassies in the UK are exempt from parking fines, and prosecutions, not just Afghanistan.

And it is the Afghan embassy that is being targeted here, not the Taliban - that's simple something the Express tagged on to enrage its Middle England readership.

When an American diplomat exercises the same right - and it is a right - to avoid a parking charge, is the Express going to be similarly vexed about it?

Doubtful.

It's click-bait, pure and simple, taking a simple fact and twisting it into something else to cause prejudice and backlash.

It's gutter journalism, but then again, it is the Express, so no change there.

The world and it’s granny recognise them as a bona fide leaders unfortunately
Bobisox - // The world and it’s granny recognise them as a bona fide leaders unfortunately //

In that case, they are as entitled to the same perks and get-outs as every other embassy on British soil, so where is the problem in then being exempt from parking fines, like all the rest?

According to the rags, most say they are using a loophole?
But you’ve proved me wrong, no argument from me ( I must be going soft in the head hahaha)
Good for them. Ludicrous exploitation of motorists under the guise of limited parking facilities.
