Bbc Proms

I’m listening to this evenings prom on the radio. What a shame they can’t show more proms on the TV instead of all the repeat programmes at prime time. Why bother producing the proms BBC if you’re not showing them?

BBC4 isn’t live this evening. It’s a recording of a popular piece - lovely but so was the live concert on radio3.

I enjoyed listening but would love to see the orchestra too.

Aunty Beeb seems to be a bit slow when it comes to getting the TV schedule for this year's Proms' broadcasts sorted out. Many of the details are still to be announced. For example, the Northern Soul Prom took place on 15 July, and it's in the TV listings, but there's still no actual transmission date for it:

I’m watching the BBC4 recording now. It’s brilliant and beautiful. I just want more of it and not just a highlight like this once a week.

I doubt they’ll show that one now Chris. It we Prom 2 and this evening was Prom 30, which is my complaint that we only get to see a handful on TV. Fridays and Sundays.

Maybe they can't get their act together due to the number refusing to pay for a licence ?
