1. Milky way
Warmonger.......Do you have the answer to 66?
Sorry poodledoo misread question, that will teach me to concentrate!??
could 66 not have something to do with England winning World Cup?
Bumpy crossing.....Ruff ( rough ) ?
Rufford, Lancashire
Ruffside, Northumberland
Rufforth, N Yorkshire. Take your pick!

I haven't got a 66 on my quiz! The clue reads "warmonger with 66 hero."Sarumite can you tell me the name of the bird that appears in "milky way"?
See my subsequent posting ....................!!
Question Author
sorry sarumite.
On reconsideration it's probably Rufford:
Ruff ( rough ) = bumpy + ford = crossing

re Warmonger....I thought it was a possibility that it was connected to another clue / answer, but if you don't have a 66.......
To atone for earlier error may I offer "Crowhurst"
Crow = Indian Warrior
Hurst = Geoff Hurst (1966 world cup hero)
swanley
craven arms
rufford
hawkhurst
Mars Cavern = Craven Arms (anag) inc Raven

I give up, I can't type fast enough on this machine. Thank you all for your answers. "Raven" seems to be occuring quite frequently in this section of answers - do you think that is OK?
Very good answers! I got nowhere with those questions but I had a good laugh at milky way (sorry Samurite - I make similar mistakes myself)
I'm stuck on some of these too. Has anyone any ideas?
1. A punk grew hers differently.
2. crazy champs fainted.
I thought there were anagrams there, but I've not been able to find them.
Thanks
