I was driving on a busy road where everyone goes fast. A police car was approaching from the side with its lights and sirens on (going to an emergency situation). I was about to cross the intersection going straight and I panicked. I didn’t want to slam on my brakes and risk getting rear ended. He definitely saw this happen but I did my best to speed through the green light in order to make way for him. He did not pull me over and no other cop did that night. How likely is it that he had time to get my license plate and that I will get a ticket? I feel awful.

These especially trained drivers are used to people responding awkwardly to their alarming appearance. I doubt very much that you have anything to worry about. The driver was focused on his job as a responder, not your good self. Forget about it.
I would not worry. The police would have realised you were reacting to help them and you have not case to answer.
