Every year a relative sends me a book but this year it went hilariously wrong. I did not get it, and after enquiring my relative was told as i was out the parcel was delivered to a farm in my neighbourhood. I went around and there is no farm. The delivery company sent me a new free book but on the invoice my address was in Herefordshire, 170 miles from my house!. What experiences have Abers had?.

I got an email one morning to say my parcel has been delivered. Went to the front door, but no card, and no parcel. Looked at the photo they had taken of my parcel and realised it wasn't my garden. I got an email one morning to say my parcel has been delivered.
Went to the front door, but no card, and no parcel.
Looked at the photo they had taken of my parcel and realised it wasn't my garden. The parcel had been lobbed over a 6ft gate into someone else's garden.
Fortunately, it was in a neighbour's garden, ( the only neighbour that has a 6ft gate) but they were away on holiday!
I got my parcel eventually but had to wait for them to come home.
Not as bad as your experience William.
Not quite the same but, when looking for a window-cleaner, I saw a local firm Bright Outlook advertising and e-mailed them regarding cost - back came a reply with quote and asking for my address which I gave. Back came an e-mail stating it was too far to travel 400 miles from Essex - hilarious - I had emailed Bright Outlook in Essex instead of the local firm!
Nothing as funny as these answers but last week I was sat in my lounge, looking directly onto my front driveway/path, and the road. I saw a guy walk up my path, waited for him to,I assumed, ring doorbell - nothing. He walked back down path, and away. I got up and went to look in my porch. There was a card - SORRY YOU WERENT IN WHEN WE TRIED TO DELIVER……….I was here the whole time!!
On a positive note, my sister, aged 10, sent me a postcard of Wigan Pier with a King Edward VIII stamp on it and just the name of the village in the Dales where I was imprisoned. It got through.
