I have just sprayed neat white vinegar on the centre of the ‘flat’ weeds on the lawn. Will this be enough to kill them?

Not bothered, most of it is weeds and moss anyway
It might. Best thing is Weed and Feed for lawns. Vinegar will alter the ph in the soil so not much grows there at all.
I think will kill them if it gets to the roots but probably not otherwise.

Similarly, I have found that if you make a strong salt solution, it's great for killing the weeds on drives/patios. You can get a load of cheap salt from a supermarket. Much better than buying Resolva drive/patio weedkiller at £stupid.99 a packet.

Obviously don't put it on anything you don't want to kill.
My guess is that it will injure them till they look dead, but that they will recover. Maybe repeat applications will get rid forever.
