No.
Yes .. I did for first time last month but didn't win the house (in CornwallI think it was). Draw supported by NSPCC.
When I first saw these adverts on TV I assumed it was some sort of con, but it's not - the house and money really are won by someone. You can (just about) enter by post for free, but the least charge for the main entry method is £10
The house is said to be worth £3.5 million.

Their website states, "80% of the net proceeds of the draw will go to the charity, with Omaze being paid 20%. It is expected that approximately £500,000 will be raised for the charity, which would mean Omaze being paid £125,000. Irrespective of sales, Omaze has guaranteed a minimum total payment of £100,000 for the charity. No purchase necessary."

If the charity is expected to get £500,000, that's £3 million less than the value of the house.

Why not give them the house or sell it and go halfers?
It was in the news the other day that a widow had won the Cornwall house. If I won that I'd either sell it, or rent it out. Give part of the income to a charity.
I too would sell it, I don't have enough years left to be accepted by the locals.
Apparently the winner spent £25 on raffle tickets and has been told she could rent it out for £14,000 per week in peak holiday season. House overlooks the Fowey Estuary in Cornwall.
