I used to enjoy listening to the pop band ‘busted’ when younger. They had their critics but overall I think they had charisma and came out with some very catchy songs.

They are reuniting/making another album now but they have redone 2 of their original songs featuring other artists. I don’t know why, the songs have been recorded in a more upbeat way but just sound tacky. Why ruin your original songs?

I think there’s also something to be said for over exposure I think an original song sort of loses its appeal if it keeps being re-recorded by the same artist.

Just wondered what peoples opinions are on this- either if you are can of busted or have seen similar happen with other bands
