Dear people, I tried to disable QMgr using your instructions as below: "You can disable QMgr and prevent it from accessing the Internet without causing any problems or affecting the performance of MSN Explorer or Messenger. Within Windows it can be disabled by going to Start/Run and typing in MSCONFIG in the blank space." I got this far but got told "cannot find spceified file/path". I am running '95, is this a problem? "Select Start Up from the window that appears and then delete the cross mark in the box next to LoadQM. " If only I could have got that far! "If you want to disable QMgr from within Explorer" okay, yes please! "click Help/Settings, then Privacy/Service Quality Monitoring and delete the cross mark next to Send Quality Monitoring Information. Restart your PC once QMgr has been removed from within Windows or Explorer." None of these menu options, or anything like them appear on my version of Internet Explorer, and it's not a particularly old version - 5.5 Why isn't anything working? Sad Moon

I run win2000, got the same problem with you too, couldn't find anything to disable it. I try to change it(loadqm.exe) to another folder, but firewall still keep capture messages send from that application. At last I try to rename it(to 1.exe or whatever), now the message has been stopped sending out.System seems O.K. too.I believe it is O.K. to delete it. If you don't want to be so agressive, you could try to change the name like I did, if it cause problems, just change it back.
