I'm pretty annoyed about it. I'd heard about but I am shocked by the price jump.

I had earmarked a replacement combi microwave in case mine is kaput and was happy to see it was considerably cheaper than elsewhere. I went back to the page several times and the price didn't change but when I showed my wife some time later the price had jumped £70.

Have you experienced this and did the price drop back down? It wasn't advertised as being 'on offer'. I'm inclined to wait to see if the price drops, the microwave part of the oven still works.

Have you tried using a different browser?
Free delivery is now on orders over £25, up from £20 a couple of days ago.
I got caught out when I tried to buy a water fountain.

I'm not sure about these door signs. Amazon.co.uk User Recommendation
When buying from amazon I often use the site "camelcamelcamel" for pricing it shows when the item you want is usually at it's cheapest and most expensive and then wait for it to go down in price. Got exercise bike for less than half the normal price so was happy with that. Just get the item code put it into the site and it will usually give you the information on it. Worth a try.
Not with Amazon but with Expedia. Looked at a hotel/flight combination which was £404 and eventually ended up paying £439.
I was about to suggest using a different browser but seen that has been suggested.

You could ask someone else to check for you to see eldest price is shown.

I have seen different prices on different browsers at the same time so I would say that is dynamic whereas yours is likely to be an increase.

I ordered something a while ago from Amazon and the price had increased by about 50% in the two or three day between paying for it and being received.

Tried a different browser and price is the same high price.

I checked out camel*3 and it proved interesting. This was never a cheap microwave but the cheapest was in Feb 2022 - £110 cheaper than the 'cheap' price yesterday, so £180 cheaper than today's.

Thanks all. I will wait it out
I've had the price increase whilst they've been in the basket ready to buy; I put it in the basket one day, left it overnight because I wanted to check something else and when I came to pay for it the following day the price had gone up. To be fair, they did warn me before I completed the sale.
Different browsers don’t work. I think it’s based on the IP address of your router.

I'll try with my phone, turn the WiFi off
I have three different browsers on my 'phone, flicked between them and seen different prices on Amazon.

I have also seen the same on another website so I assume there is a different history in each browser and that affected the prices offered to me.
