Not looking forward to dressing up every night. If we eat in the buffet section, do I need to wear a dress every single night and does OH have to wear a jacket?? Can I wear white Capri trousers with a nice top, and what to wear during the day on board? Thanks all.

From the experiences of a couple who've been on Cunard cruises: https://paulandcarolelovetotravel.com/cunard-dress-code-what-to-pack-for-a-cunard-cruise/

Last cruise was on Celebrity after years on Royal Caribbean but very disappointing, they have become very youth oriented with loud disco music and DJs All. Day. Long. Not at all relaxing so thought we would try a cruise for the “more mature” who want peace and quiet. Thanks for all your suggestions folks.
Sadly, the new mega-ships are all getting known as 'party ships' my advice would be to stick to 'adult only' like the Aurora.

Andy, ‘adults only’ unfortunately allows younger ‘adults’ who like thumping music all day.
you could try the lines with smaller cruise ships, they tend not to attract youth. They're not always cheap but they may be no dearer than a Cunarder.
smurf, if you don't fancy life on board a cruise ship why did you book a cruise? Just curious really.

A big event obliged us to book a cruise (being trapped on an all inclusive package holiday with a load of other people is not something that appeals to me at all), but fortunately Covid intervened and it was cancelled. The only good thing Covid ever did - in my opinion. :o)

Not in my experience.

The P & O 'adults only' ships, Arcadia and Aurora, attract passengers mainly in the fifty-plus age range.

I am due on Arcadia this summer, and looking forward to a mature audience who don't request, or appreciate, 'banging' music.

Don't get me wrong, I love 'banging' music more than the vast majority of people my age, but there is a time and a place, and peaceful cruise holiday is neither of them.
