"New official data showed German GDP fell by 0.2% in the October-December period, worse than expected, as the energy crisis and higher interest rates hit growth."

"Analysts warned that Germany’s economic outlook is not too rosy, with ING’s Carsten Brzeski saying:

Not falling off the cliff is one thing, staging a strong rebound, however, is a different matter. And there are very few signs pointing to a healthy recovery of the German economy any time soon."

So everything is not quite so rosy elsewhere as you might have us believe.

Is the writing on the wall for the Cons, after
Lord Sainsbury has donated £2m to the Labour Party and says dozens of top business leaders are asking how to get on board with Labour ahead of the next election . Seems a little different to how the Cons had their Donations from wealthy Russian donors in the past
So which country does Gulliver resides in - do anyone know for certain or are you all assuming he lives abroad ?

Bazile @ 22.06 Most Abers say I live at Hull.
Must go there one day , seems like a nice place.

So where do you live Gulliver ?

Give a truthful answer
Question Author
22.17 Some Abers say I live at Thornton Heath.
Where ever that is Bazile.
It's south London, between Norwood and Croydon. Nearby places you may have heard of are Streatham and Crystal Palace. I know because I once lived there for a short while.
Why the obsession about where Gulliver lives? It's a really annoying juvenile distraction and destroyer of any sort of rational discussion. I wish some people here would grow up.

Because atheist he's claimed before to be overseas in a much better place... and he has had a few pmsl incidents whenever there's bad news about UK so itadds to impression his not here. Looking at old posts he once talked about a good system for national service and lorry drivers where he lives. He has asked about expat votes before and about finance in Spain but maybe not for him....but he likes the intrigue and won't answer....maybe time to ignore that issue as am sure its in uk
//Thank you NJ. Is it a nice place to live ?//

Like many places in the suburbs of London there are a few parts that are reasonable. However, also like many of the suburbs, a lot of it - especially the shopping areas - is grotty and tatty, mainly consisting of fast food outlets, charity shops and the occasional estate agency. In common with many areas of London it was once quite nice, but has deteriorated somewhat in recent years.
