What does this mean? It's yodel tracking for a parcel from eBay.
Message on yodel site says parcel arrived at "local depot" on Monday. Is that the same as limbo? ;)

Anything is possible with yodel :-). I usually cancel my order, if I see they are delivering.
It means- they don't know where it is, what it is, or whether you will ever get it.

I had a choice between yodel and Evri...such a difficult one!

Evri are useless.
My parcel was in their depot for 14 days and didn’t move.

Both Yodel and Evri have depots where I live. Some of the stories I hear about them would put me off using either.

I think the problem is that because some of their staff are only semi-literate, they are unable to write an original message from scratch so they have a limited menu to select from - hence an unhelpful generic message. (A bit like "An error has occurred" which some websites trot out with no clue as to how to overcome it.)

Well, parcel is due for delivery Saturday...I will remain hopeful.
What gets me is, if they have it locally...why can't they deliver it! Maybe they wait until there's enough to pack a van...wouldn't surprise me.

I have to say that I've never had any problems with Hermes/Evri. Our local delivery lady is always prompt, helpful and courteous.

If we're not in she knows where to hide the booty!

Messages on official Yodel tracking site, and on my order info page on eBay.

Tilly, the Evri delivery person(s) here take it wherever and do not leave a card. I've had to knock on 8-9 doors to track down parcels.
