Unless you are incredibly fortunate to be someone that the mini-hooligans don't bite, then you most certainly will. This is the one I use:

Enjoy your holiday.

Brings back memories of staying in my Great Aunty and Uncle's house - no electric, but own beach at the bottom of the garden.

Oh! Sorry, I got it wrong. We are going to Skye, North Uist and Benbecula, South Uist and Eriskay, Harris, Lewis and Ullapool.

I was convinced we were going to Islay!
You’ll still need midge repellent Tilly
That sounds lovely by the way - a cruise?
Question Author
Not exactly a cruise, Toorak. Coaches and boats I think.
That’s what I use piggy.
Skye and Benbecula are amazing Tilly
Are you off to Islay this year RH?

I have to confess to having visited hardly any of the Western Isles - I plan to rectify that in future.
Question Author
I have the blue Skin so Soft oil sprays. Will that be enough or do I need the Smidge stuff as well??
Question Author
Helen, I blame you for my mistake. I always think of you as Islay. :-)
Lol Tilly
I am Tuvok in November for a fortnight then we have booked 3 weeks in 2024
yes RH i can see why you mixed up tuvok and toorak on this thread... i read them as the same atfirst
Oddly enough, of several visits to various parts of the NW coast of Scotland, Skye was the one place where midges never troubled me.

The worst was Lochinver.
I can confirm that tuvok & I are not one and the same :-)
I apologise - I did not have my glasses on - no offence meant Toorak
