There is a word containing eight letters of more printed somewhere in the December issue which is the key to cracking the code.
based on previous years no letter is repeated
and these are put at the start of the alphabet
A previous year had the word COMPING
and the code was
ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ
