I phoned L&V Friday to buy house insurance. I did so because I am already a customer at this house and thought that it would be simpler if I took their insurance out at my next house.

I am considering cancelling the policy, do I have the right to do so when I instigated the purchase?

I tried reading their information but I can't get an answer

Four and a half floors?! That's what the report says.
Shop on ground floor, my flat takes up over half of the first floor. Share all repairs and no factor/management.
A close friend of mine has had an enormous battle with LV over his car - he got it via a broker. I also have had an experience with them when a man whose wife had had a new baby and his mind was elsewhere reversed into my hire car in a large house car park in N. Berwick - I even had a signed note admitting responsibility from him. It took 9 months for me to get my money back from LV via Hertz. I would recommend NFU - have nothing but praise for them - and I have my house, car and some commerical policies with them and had the Mater's house too - no quibbles to the claim we made on my mother's behalf on contents......
Share all repairs is why the flood question and construction materials are very important
