Perhaps this should be in jokes rather than chatterBank, but I've just seen this headline on the BBC news website and it made me laugh.

"BA unveils jumpsuits in uniform revamp"

I'm sure there different to parachutes.

I’m not sure why anyone would wear a jumpsuit on a a plane, imagine trying to use the loo :(

Actually, I’ll rephrase that..why would anyone, anywhere, wear a jumpsuit?
They look very nice but are totally impractical. I speak as someone who wore them in the 70s.

I don’t even wear trousers on a plane, all that ‘fluid’ on the floor in the loo. It’s leggings or a dress, nothing which might remotely touch the floor, yuk!

Not just planes....the number of times I've had to roll up the trouser legs and spray my shoes when I've got home.
Worst uniform revamp?
Jeff Banks and the Brownie uniform. Sash attached to the culottes. The number of Brownies I had to rescue from a loo! Culottes on the ground to get the second let out....Brownie struggling to get the sash from around her neck before she strangled herself!
