Corby, sources are important. If the OP wanted the matter discussed without bias, he'd have had the courage of his convictions and chosen a reputable source. Instead we have an anonymous nobody venting his spleen.

Maybe I should re-calibrate my moral compass, aligning it with that of Tory government ministers – and find myself a new employer who has a similar outlook on accepting bribes.
