It's Thursday, so nearly the weekend. Still freezing out there but with the promise of warmer temperatures to come from next week.

I hope you're all well and looking forward to the big day in 10 days' time. I still have cards and stuff to buy but this dreaded chest infection has hindered so much.

Depression isn't uncommon after surgery. At least she has a care package in place with twice daily visits. I hope her family is aware also.

I think she was over-anxious before the operation - very cup half empty - but she seems to have a number people coming in which is something she wasn't expecting. She said she's spoken to her brother.
