whats the best thing to use on my alloy wheels to clean them and to remove the little black specks that are so hard to remove

I recently bought one of those hand steam cleaners off Ebay and it works wonders.

Loads of stuff in the likes of Halfords for cleaning them, costs a little less than a steam cleaner! ;)

I use Jif or Cif as it now is called.

Depends on their age - if you use Cif - you will remove any remaining laquer
