Does anyone know the correct proceedure for closing Poat office bank accounts after death? Mum died over 2 months ago and been given a run around by post office telephone centres and no answer to letters. Funeral bills to pay and no response from Post Office.

Have you been into a Post Office and asked them? Other than that try National Savings and Investments, Glasgow G58 1SB.
You can get a 'death of holder' form from any Post Office. Fill it in, send it off.
