Fashion photography

I have to do a mag repro assignment on fashion photography, and it says to research fashion photographers and fashion designers. was just wondering if anyone could suggest any good photographers/designers to research? (apart from the obvious - and ones that i can find a lot of pictures/info for)

also - does anyone know a website that shows kinda punky/edgy fashion photography with lots of pictures?

The Vivienne Westwood Site has quite a few cool photographs.

And the John Galliano site contains catwalk videos which you could print screen. I hope this helps

Mario Testino is supposed to be one the best fashion photographers going. But I think they are just photos of his celebrity coke snorting bum chums.

Helena Christiansen has taken up a career as a fashion photographer. She's pretty good too. The newest one I can think of. Rankin is probably the oldest.

I can't remember a fashion photographer who does edgy stuff. Its mostly done to death and a really tired medium, full of sexual enuendo and inferred orgies.
