do you think there much difference between what fashion photography is like now to what is was like in the 60's?

Not in the appearance of the model to much extent, but the actual settings, locations and surreal backgrounds created by the use of software has changed dramatically.

I think there were mainly studio based shoots in the 60s, when it was not as common to relocate to an on location setting for days on end to shoot exotic backgrounds.

I recall in the 70s and 80s there was a great deal of ethnic influence on location shooting, not sure why i remember that, but in the 60s it was as i said, a much more studiop based industry.
