I took time off work this afternoon for a telephone appointment with an endocrinologist. Sat there for an hour and a half, no call. I desperately need results of recent test so that I can get life insurance.

Not amused.

Yet if you're five minutes late for an appointment (even on the phone) then you're marked as a DNA and you are "bringing the NHS to its knees".

There should be consequences for them for breaking/delaying an appointment without an explanation before the time of the appointment.

I agree. I'm really annoyed over this. Telephone appointments are more efficient blah blah blah, so we're told. Not today, they're not.
Rocky, I feel for you, I waited ….and waited…and waited for a call back, I had to ring them, they’d ‘forgotten!!!
Come and have a pint in Kerry - solves most things :-)
Hope they have a good excuse!
Absolutely disgusting how people are treated of late.
Did you call them to see what had happened? xx

I emailed. I didn’t want to block up my phone in case they were trying to call me.
