Are Children Aged 6, 7 And 8 Years Old Capable Of Beating Up A Classmate (Punching/Kicking) Or Is It More Like A Pre-Teens And Teenagers Thing?

I am studying English Pedagogy in the university and I am aware bullying is a worldwide problem. I also know bullying starts at kindergarten years but I was wondering if children between 6 to 8 years old can also beat up their classmates.

I think that people are quite capable, whatever their age, of shocking things if they have been raised in a shocking environment. If they are taught from birth that certain others are not really human (e.g. people from other religions or other political groups) they can be led to treat them as not worth kindness or respect. The obvious example is the way that humans usually treat other species as a food source.

They should be punished, whatever their age, need teaching a lesson.
