//Mrs Flip-Flop doesn’t want to unnecessarily relieve her previous employers and campaign backers of the obscene profits they could never hope to vaguely spend in one lifetime,…//

What has that to do with income tax rates?
A windfall tax would collect about £10Billion.
That is £10Billion less the Government would have had to irresponsibly borrow to fund their indefensible giveaway.
There are many reasons not to inflict a windfall tax on companies, especially when implementing a budget designed to bring big companies to the UK.

Anyway, your a lefty so the Tories dont really care what you say. Anything they did you would slate.
Not very good at maths so could somebody let me know what percentage swing there will need to be for Labour to overturn Conservatives majority. Is 17% sufficient?
There’s a few financial experts on AB but especially in News earning over £155 grand Gramps, I’m certain one of them will be along unbelievably swiftly to answer your query.

Erm, at a guess I’d reckon they wouldn’t have found the need to give extra benefit to the top 1% of wage earners in the UK by dropping their tax by 5%?
The windfall tax(still an income tax however you dress it up) in current polar extremes and austerity for the masses would have meant that the government were at least not scrambling around trying to shore up the Pound as it sinks faster than a wicker canoe?
But as I said, she doesn’t want to hurt the obscene profits of her previous employers and major backers, does she?
But I’m sure you already knew that, deep down.
