I've turned mine down from 20 to 19. Probably won't make much of a difference now price wise given the hikes.

What's yours set at?

Still at 'off' !
mine is usually on 18 but ive turned it down to 17 for when i goes back on (not yet though - hoping to hold out till October at least)
I held out till 2nd November last year - wrote it on my calendar :)
I have no intention in keeping my thermostat lower than I need. Keeping warm should not be a luxury, especially for elderly, babies, children, or chronic illness.
If need be I will economise somewhere else. My thermostat is at 20 just now, but within 1 hour I’ll lower it .
I don't get a choice, I just pay the bills.
If I feel cold 22 is my go to setting - otherwise it's off.

With the price cap freeze & gov handouts I'll be paying about 1/2 as much for my gas & electric than I did last winter.
Mine was on 21 but have turned it down to 19. If it gets colder, it will be going back up to 21!
Sharon; it doesn't matter what the outside temperature is, the thermostat will heat your room until the temperature at your stat location equals the setting you have used. The worst thing to do is to keep fiddling the stat up and down. Setting it to 30 degrees won't speed up the time it takes to make the room warm. Just decide what temp you want and leave the stat on that setting.
Right Atheist. I will leave on 19. Thanks for the advice.
