Dreams, and toilets

I often have dreams about going to the loo in public. The other night I dreamt I was doing a number 2 whilst talking to someone I work with. What these toilet dreams mean?

lol, but think they must have some deep meaning. For me to have them so often.

I read once that having that dream means you are scared you will be exposed about something.

I read somewhere that these type of dreams (during something openly that you would usually do in private) are you acting out one of your worst fears in the safety of your dreams.

i.e. if your worst nightmare would be to be caught 'with your trousers down' then the best way of exorcising that fear is to 'live thru it'. Kind of like holding a spider, if spiders are your worst nightmare.

If could also be a hint that during your waking life you are having insurecurities about being rediculed.

If could be that you have currently have some worries about a potentially embarrassing situation, and your subconscious is exploring that.

I heard dreams about losing teeth are due to financial worry...not sure about toilets

one possibility is just that you do want to go to the loo. We don't normally feel pressure from bladder or bowels while we sleep, but if you do want to go strongly enough it may percolate through into your dreams or even wake you up. But you'll know if that's the case or not already.

Dreaming about losing teeth is usually the fear of saying something that will embarrass you or get yourself into trouble - a verbal 'slip-up'

I am well into looking up the dreams I can remember. Had a strange one last week too! so have kept a dream dictionary in my favourites! I couldnt find anything about POO though!

Toilet

It could also mean that your bladder (or bowels) are full and the discomfort of a full bladder pressing on other organs is telling your brain that you need to wake up, get up and go to the toilet..

Found this thread really interesting as I also used to always dream about having to go to the toilet in public. Not had them so often as I have got older. I always used to think it was symptomatic of lots of insecurities.
