Can anyone here settle a few minor disagreements in the office today?? I always thought a white wine spritzer was white wine and soda water but other people are saying its white wine and lemonade?? Nobody here seems to actually drink it though whichever one it is!! Cheers x

I drink them, and usually when I order then they ask if I want lemonade or soda water, sometimes they dont and it just comes with soda water. I think thats the right way anyway. I want one now !

always Soda
Soda. It is awful with lemonade !!
Common Misconception. A spritzer is white wine + soda. White wine and lemonade is called white wine and lemonade. An awful lot of spritzer drinkers unfortunately don't know this either.
soda.... what a waste of wine if you mix it with lemonade

I can't think of white wine spritzers without thinking of Ned Flanders!

Ned: "Oh go on then. I'll have a white wine spritzer!"

Then he wakes up the next day and he's married! :oD
It's soda. I've taken to asking for 'white wine and soda' which is a lot harder after a few cos so many numpty's behind bars put lemonade in a 'spritzer' and it tastes foul.(I'm a bar working numpty too). Feel a bit of a pranny drinking such a posh bird drink, but there's less calories in it than a pint of Carling!!
