The motorist, a woman in her 50s, stopped at the scene.
What she did to the two she hit will weigh on her conscience.
It’s true Sandy, 3 women’s lives ruined .
It's a dreadful accident for all concerned.
For me - my day would have been ruined by having to do the supermarket shop - but - and I'm not at all sure but that I would grab at doing the shopping instead - I managed to fall over in a freak accident yesterday and I have big lumps and bruises all down one side and a fairly useless left arm. Fairly sure nothing is broken - but life is painful and will be for some time.
On balance, I'd settle for doing the shopping. :(
I drove past the remains of a dreadful accident yesterday. A delay of 45 mins seemed irrelevant compared to what those involved were suffering - and their families.

Having had a very involved matter and not slept properly since Sat night, I was wiped out. Was reading some stuff this afternoon and the next thing I knew I woke up 3 hours later. So that has ruined today. Tonight I have to get a flower order in for a wedding I am doing. Tomorrow I have to catch up with today. I can see that Saturday and Sunday will be valuable "catch up" days.
God those poor women - hope they are ok. A stark naked man was caught running down our main road by two local police officers - he seemed very confused!
Not today but yesterday - was meant to get my new car (not new new, but new to me), but it had been vandalised at the showroom and needs a new windscreen :(
That's a familiar avatar.
At least the windscreen will be totally new.
That’s one way of looking at it :)

That accident sounded terrible. Those poor people. Such a shock for them.
A woman of 33 was killed near here last Friday. She was crossing the road when a van knocked her over. Air ambulance at the scene but she died later in hospital. Police and paramedics there as well. Road closed in both direction for 7/8 hours.
So very sad.,

Jourdain - better get your arm checked out to make sure nothing serious has happened. Sounds a nasty fall.
Thanks for asking Lady-J. I have back problems so I go to an independent phsio/osteo and I've booked an appointment for tomorrow afternoon - by when the swelling should be down enough for him to make an assessment. I gave up on the NHS during the 1st lockdown when I had a very nasty wrenched hip - and was offered a telephone appointment! Private is costly - but at over 70, I'd rather feel OK than buy non-essentials. :)
