My nephew has one. Absolute waste of money (his words). Does all the bits that are easy to reach, won't go near the corners, turns round when it detects a table leg within two feet. He has to follow up with a conventional machine to do the (many) bits robovac will not go near.
My brother and his wife have one and they love it. They think it's very clever. Recently heard a funny story from a work colleague who has one and had it set to run at night. Their dog had an upset tum in the night and left piles of diarrhoea that the vacuum ran over and spread all over the place. They discovered the mess in the morning.
My son has one and loves it. His pooch does too.
I actually bought one for the cats to play with (it seemed to be a good idea at the time) but it kept getting stuck in a corner in my cluttered living room.

The cats ran for cover as soon as it started up.

I gave it to a friend.

It only flicks surface bits into the small collection part. It does not do the same as an electrical vacuum cleaner. So it does not do the job properly at all. It will pick up any loose stuff like an old Eubank Carpet cleaner would have done - it does not have any suction.
Maybe the success depends on whether it’s used on carpet or hard floors?

My friend has one and is very pleased. They have hard floors and it keeps the dust down and collects up any pet hairs. They just pop it on every evening I think, and I notice it goes under the sofas.
I had one a few years back and it was useless and wouldn't pick up cat fur. Then one day it just stopped working despite fully charged. It was one of the cheaper models though.
Some previous neighbours had one. It set their burglar alarm off v early one morning whilst they were away. I was keyholder. I wasn't happy. I don't like them.
I have one, it worked ok on kitchen floor that was tiled. But it was hopeless on carpets.
Until this post came up I had forgotten I had one!
Not used it for years.
Very handy. Just set him going. Even goes back to his “bed” by himself if needing charged
