Try telling a hound that is going flat out cross country after a drag lure that it mustn't chase the fox that suddenly appears. This is what they have been bred for for hundred of years and would be impossible to change.
I should imagine lankeela that providing their dens aren't filled in, which is the standard practice for fox hunting, that the foxes will pretty much stay hidden when a drag hunt is on. Afterall a pack of baying hounds isn't going to be incentive for them to go on an afternoon's jaunt is it? so I'm afraid I find that argument a little hard to swallow too.
Drag Racing?????? Have we changed the subject.

Drag hunt's do not hunt foxes, where is your problem with that? Lack of understanding--------again
I'm sorry horsetache, I used another word by mistake meaning another- so shoot me!

I don't think there's any need for you to resort to nastiness either, just because i disagree with the bloodlust that you appear to enjoy does not make me understand any less than you.
Who and what are these hunt people ? whether you''re a rich landowner or you come from a council estate I don't really care !! but I will NEVER understand how you can enjoy seeing an animal being ripped apart ? The camera has brought the reality of fox hunting to our TV screens. This is not animal rights it's human wrongs.
:sighs heavily:

Bazile, exactly where in my answer does it say that I think it's ok for hounds to chase a fox to death because other people are trapping or shooting them? Please read answers fully and make sure you understand what the poster is saying before you reply!

If you had bothered to read my reply properly, you would have realised that I was merely stating the fact that it is legal to shoot foxes, as the Government thinks that a trained marksman will always kill the fox instantly with a single shot, and never will they just injure the fox, leaving it to suffer a slow death from its injuries.
Boo Blood lust!!!!!!!!!

Since when has chasing a rag, caused blood?????

The question IS "is the ban observed" my answer was "In our hunt YES"

Get a grip
I'm not sure if you've got anything else other than manners lacking horsetache- but seeing as you resort to childishly telling me to get a grip, I think it's best we avoid each other in future- have a nice day :-)

Shire - can I suggest that in future , you do not post an answer that is open to interpretaion - as yours was - if you are going to be upset when people ( not just me ) interprets it contrary , to the point you were trying to make

Given the opposition to the government from certain quarters, to the introduction of the ban - and the government's apparent unpopularity - it certainly was not clear whether or not you are involved in hunting foxes - and therefore you were being sarcastic when you stated
' .... thanks to our wonderful government ....' - and that you would ignore the ban .
