Bbc Quiz: Week 21

It’s Friday, so here we go again folks!
A decent enough start for me this week, I feel, with FIVE out of seven in the main quiz:

. . . but I had to rely on the final question to save me from total ignominy in the junior quiz. Just ONE out of five for me :(

The timed quiz seemed a bit easier than usual to me this week, allowing me to achieve SEVEN out of ten:

Almost every wine that's entered for them ends up with some sort of a medal, so the system is really very little more than a marketing ploy.
Ruddy 'eck, DTC! You're certainly on fire this week! A near-perfect grown-up and a near-perfect kid, as well as our best sprinter so far!
I got the beer question wrong too although I'm wondering if it's really anything new? I've tasted plenty of beers that have certainly tasted as if they've been made from sewage ;-)

Good evening, Haras2. Thanks for keeping me company on 1/5 in the kids' quiz. I was starting to feel a bit lonely for that one!
Yes, it's all to easy to panic on the timed one, isn't it? (I'd have scored 8m instead of 7, if I'd managed to click on a correct answer that I actually knew!). You've still managed some solid 'middling' scores in two out of the three quizzes though, so well done!
I think that Shady and I have something in common. I also seem to find that snoozing can tire me out these days ;-)
My lot are all outside at the moment but Chequers and Moonbeam have both recently paid me a visit to demand some fuss. (Tablo will probably turn up with a mouse soon, I suspect!).
Hoping that life in Wales is treating you well. All the best from me and the feline threesome.

Here in Suffolk, with its beautiful coastline, we're looking forward to the usual conflicts between combine harvesters and SUVs towing caravans very soon ;-)
Knowing everything would never be a good thing, Ken. If you really knew everything, you'd always know exactly what others were thinking about you, which not always make you happy ;-)
Decent scores anyway! Well done!
