Is it just me - in my inimitably hamfisted, computer-illiterate way - or is it the new, improved AnswerBank? I just...at 8 am Thursday... tried, twice, to post a link in answer to a question in the 'Food & Drink' category, but the usually blue, clickable address just appeared as a normal piece of black typing. Naturally, clicking on it achieved nothing. Anyone else experienced this? Alternatively, what did I do wrongly this time?

Wonderful, Cetti! I'm delighted that both of you ladies - as well as I myself, of course! - have now "hacked it", as they say. (Still...the pre-Brave New AnswerBank World system was easier, wasn't it?)
Just one question if I may, please,QM. Do you still use Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V to copy and paste an address or is there a better way with this new arrangement?
The link problem has been noted and our techies are busy working on it. You will soon be able to post http links as before. Thank you for your patience while we try to iron out a few glitches! Best Regards AB Editor
Erm, I think I'll wait until the techies have sorted it out!! ;-)

Thanks to all for your responses. Flirty, a short time ago I saw, elsewhere on the site, a comment from the AB Editor that the old clickable-link method is going to be restored! It looks, therefore, as if we wasted our time (re)learning the new one. Better do a quick revision...I think I've already forgotten how to do it the old way!
Thank you for the news, AB Editor, and best regards to yourself also.
The automatic dating is not working - it is Saturday 03/07/04 today.
